The Seven Noahide Laws are universal commandments that guide us toward a better world. By adhering to these laws, we can contribute to a more just, and harmonious society, and ultimately hasten the coming of the Messianic Era.
1. The Prohibition of Idolatry- to believe that there is no supreme entity except the creator.
2. The Prohibition of Blasphemy against G-d- not to curse the creator.
3. The Prohibition of Murder and Injury- to respect human life.
4. The Prohibition of Forbidden Sexual Relations- to avoid sexual acts that are destructive to mankind and ruin the family structure.
5. Establishing courts and a justice system- all societies must establish civil laws according to righteous principles.
6. The Prohibition of Theft- including the robber, stealing property, and kidnapping.
7. Not to eat a limb from a live animal- avoid eating meat that was taken from the animal when it was still alive.
There is also a positive side to the seven laws:
1. Knowledge of the Oneness of G-d. To learn about the infinite divine unity of G-d
2. To worship and respect God’s holy name.
3. Respect the Sanctity of Human Life.
4. Respect the rules of the traditional family and live according to them.
5. Respect others' Property.
6. Respect All Creatures.
7. Establish a Righteous Judicial System.
These are the general commandments that all Noah's sons must follow. Although there are some additional commandments that
raise the total to thirty. And these commandments branch off from the general seven.
